Withholding tax tables updated

Employers have up to 16 November 2020 to update their payroll systems to reflect the changes to the personal income tax thresholds for the 2020-21 income year.
The ATO has published the updated PAYG withholding tax tables to be used to work out employees’ take home pay.
These apply to payments made on and from 13 October 2020, but employers have been given additional time to adjust their processes.
