ATO paid pilot for small retailers 

ATO is paying retail small business participants for a 6-month pilot to trial a monthly GST lodgment cycle. They are looking for small retail businesses who currently report and pay GST quarterly on their BAS, to trial a monthly GST reporting and payment cycle. Small retailers would be paid for their participation.

The 6-month paid pilot starts in July. Small business retailers must currently report and pay GST quarterly. Participants will need to voluntarily change their GST reporting and payment cycle from quarterly to monthly from 1 July.
